Nicole Derden
Owner

Nicole has always been driven by the principals of social justice and learning a foreign language. She grew up in western Oregon and began her work with immigrants in the agricultural industry in Woodburn, Oregon, in 1998. She graduated from Carroll College with majors in Spanish and History and a minor in Catholic Theology in 2001 and went to live in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico. In 2002 she moved to Idaho to attend the University of Idaho College of Law. She has been licensed with the Idaho State Bar since 2005 and has dedicated her entire legal career to the advocacy of Idaho’s immigrants.

In her free time, she enjoys exploring rural Idaho, hiking and fishing in the Wood River Valley, doing yoga, reading historical fiction, traveling the world (as much as time permits), and spending time with her husband and their four boys.

Tami Knorr
Attorney

Tami has dedicated her entire legal career exclusively to immigration law, providing compassionate and strategic representation to individuals and families navigating the U.S. immigration system. Before entering private practice, Tami served with Catholic Charities of Eastern Oklahoma and the Tulsa Immigration Resource Network (TIRN), where she represented vulnerable immigrants in family-based petitions, humanitarian relief applications, asylum cases, and naturalization matters. This experience shaped Tami’s deep commitment to community-centered advocacy and access to justice.

Tami earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2011 and is admitted to practice in Oklahoma and before the U.S. immigration courts. As a recent Idaho transplant, she enjoys exploring all the great outdoor activities Idaho has to offer. Most weekends you will find her hiking or kayaking or exploring new parks with her husband, their daughter, and their beloved dog, Rosie.
